Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the CalConversion mobile application. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms — a legally binding agreement between you and PT Next Digital Mastery.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the CalConversion mobile application ("the App"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not download, install, or use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PT Next Digital Mastery ("NDMastery").

Section 02

Service Provider

CalConversion is developed, published, and maintained by PT Next Digital Mastery. All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including but not limited to the source code, design, user interface, icons, logos, documentation, and any associated intellectual property — remain the exclusive property of PT Next Digital Mastery.

Section 03

Description of Service

CalConversion is a cross-platform mobile conversion application available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) that provides the following services:

Unit Conversion across 5 categories: Currency (260+ units including fiat, crypto, and stocks), Distance (144 units), Apparel (18+ countries), Data Storage (60 units), and Mass/Weight (122 units).

Multi-Target Conversion that allows simultaneous conversion of a single input value to up to 6 different target units.

Real-Time Exchange Rates fetched from 11 independent data providers with cross-verification and automatic failover.

Bargain Mode for two-way currency price comparison with built-in arithmetic operators.

Expression Evaluation supporting mathematical expressions up to 50 characters with +, −, ×, ÷ operators.

Calculation History storing up to 50 timestamped conversion records locally on the device.

Offline Support using locally cached exchange rates when no internet connection is available.

Location-Based Defaults that automatically detect your country and set appropriate currency defaults.

Three Visual Themes: Light, Dark, and AMOLED (true black).

Built-In Bug Reporting with file attachment support, delivered via SMTP.

Section 04

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PT Next Digital Mastery grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use the App on any compatible mobile device that you own or control, for both personal and commercial purposes.

4.1 Restrictions

You may not:

Copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the App.

Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App.

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Distribute, sublicense, lease, rent, or lend the App to any third party.

Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the App's rate-fetching services in a manner that exceeds normal individual use.

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's backend services, API keys, or infrastructure.

Section 05

Pricing & In-App Purchases

CalConversion is provided completely free of charge. There are no subscriptions, premium tiers, in-app purchases, paywalls, or hidden fees. All features described in Section 3 are available to all users without any payment obligation.

PT Next Digital Mastery reserves the right to introduce paid features in the future, which would be subject to updated Terms and communicated clearly to users.

Section 06

Exchange Rate Accuracy & Disclaimer

CalConversion aggregates exchange rate data from 11 independent third-party providers to maximize accuracy and reliability. However:

Exchange rates are indicative, not definitive. Rates may differ from those offered by banks, money changers, forex brokers, or cryptocurrency exchanges. CalConversion displays market reference rates, not transactional rates.

Rates are subject to delays. While CalConversion polls for updated rates every 60 seconds during active use, real-time market conditions may change between updates. Cryptocurrency and stock market rates from supplemental providers refresh approximately every 30 minutes.

No financial advice. CalConversion is a utility tool, not a financial advisory service. Conversion results should not be used as the sole basis for financial transactions, investment decisions, trading activities, or any other decisions involving monetary risk.

Offline rates may be stale. When using the app without an internet connection, cached rates reflect the last successful fetch and may be hours or days old depending on when you last had connectivity.

Provider availability. Third-party rate providers may experience downtime, rate-limit requests, or discontinue service. CalConversion implements automatic failover, but temporary gaps in coverage are possible.

Section 07

Unit Conversion Accuracy

For non-currency categories (Distance, Apparel, Data Storage, Mass/Weight), CalConversion uses mathematically precise conversion factors. However:

Apparel sizing is approximate. Clothing and shoe size standards vary between brands, manufacturers, and regions. CalConversion provides standardized conversion tables based on commonly accepted international sizing charts, but individual fit may vary.

Historical and traditional units. Conversion factors for historical measurement systems (e.g., Biblical, Ottoman, Celtic, Polynesian units) are derived from scholarly and reference sources but may have inherent variability due to regional or temporal differences.

Floating-point precision. Conversion results are computed using double-precision floating-point arithmetic (up to 15 decimal places) and may exhibit minor rounding differences compared to arbitrary-precision calculations.

Section 08

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

PT Next Digital Mastery does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

In no event shall PT Next Digital Mastery, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on conversion data, exchange rates, or unit conversion results.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, including breach of contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other basis.

Section 09

Third-Party Services

CalConversion relies on third-party data providers for exchange rate information (as detailed in our Privacy Policy). Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of:

Apple's App Store Terms of Service (for iOS users)

Google Play Terms of Service (for Android users)

PT Next Digital Mastery is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party service providers. In the event that a third-party provider discontinues its service, modifies its terms, or becomes unavailable, PT Next Digital Mastery will make reasonable efforts to maintain App functionality through alternative providers or cached data.

Section 10

Bug Reports & User Submissions

When you submit a bug report through the App's built-in bug reporting feature:

You grant PT Next Digital Mastery a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use the information in your report (including attached screenshots) solely for the purpose of diagnosing and resolving software issues.

Bug reports are transmitted via authenticated SMTP with STARTTLS encryption and delivered directly to the development team.

You are responsible for not including sensitive personal information (e.g., passwords, financial account numbers) in bug report descriptions or attachments.

Feature requests and suggestions submitted through the bug reporting system may be implemented at PT Next Digital Mastery's discretion without obligation or compensation.

Section 11

Intellectual Property

The CalConversion name, logo, user interface designs, source code, documentation, and all associated intellectual property are owned by PT Next Digital Mastery and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the App beyond the limited license set forth in Section 4.

Section 12

Termination

PT Next Digital Mastery reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that it believes violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the App, its users, or the interests of PT Next Digital Mastery. Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked, and you must uninstall the App from all devices.

You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App. Upon uninstall, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

Section 13

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Indonesia.

Section 14

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

Section 15

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PT Next Digital Mastery regarding the use of CalConversion. These Terms supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings regarding the App.

Section 16

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:

The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms will be revised.

Updated Terms will be published on our website and accessible within the App.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

If you do not agree to modified Terms, your sole remedy is to uninstall the App.
